La Leche League of Brigantine NJ

La Leche League is an international non-profit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

The Brigantine group meets the FIRST Monday of the month* from 7 – 8:30 pm at 855 Smith Bowen Rd., Galloway Township, NJ 08205.
*except September because of Labor Day. We will meet the 1st Tuesday of the month in September.

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who are accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available at all times to take mothers’ phone calls.

Our series meetings cover the topics:

· the advantages of breastfeeding

· the family and the breastfed baby

· the art of breastfeeding and avoiding difficulties

· starting solids, nutrition, and weaning.

Please come and participate in our open, interactive discussions. Babies are welcome! Pregnant women are encouraged to attend.
